Swimming Day!

This is how our apartment building's swimming pool look like for a very long long time....

We waited and waited and waited.....until...

Tadaaaa! All done but it took like 7 months for them to fix whatever it is that they fix on it.

This girl everyday look at the window down at the pool and wanting to go swiming and finally...on her 17th month birthday the pool was open and guess who was the first to jump in it hehehee :)

To start off we went to the bubbling jaccuzi first coz it's the warmest in there. Actually the weather in Dubai is most wonderful, between November till March, thats when winter starts and tempreture goes down and you get the cool breeze going on. Anyhow, here in Dubai, during hot seasons, the water is refrigerated, meaning, the water in the pool made cooler and during the cooler months like now most pools are heated. Guess we are the lucky ones as the pools here in our building are with the tempreture controlled ones so kids can go swimming all year long. Only in the kids pool but the adult pool is just a normal one.

Here is Miss M flashing her happy smiles coz she is finally getting her feet wet in this pool :)

We brought along her plastic blow up ball too for her to play with and she simply adores it.

Besides that, she made some new friends too, and so did mommy :)

Some fun in the sun with mummy :)
It's all good for this swimming pool is reopen now for Miss M and I have a new activity to do everyday  or every other day and this is good also coz both of us have enough excercise and I can see that Miss M is trying to make herself brave and try to immerse herself in the water time to time so I take it its a sign that she is ready to have a go with swimming lessons and I know just the person to help her with that and it's Daddy mumut :)
yuhoo mummy I can see you from up here! :)
one good thing about this float is that its got a clear palstic infront of the buoy so that  kids can have a look at the water undeneath them and Miss M was so excited about this coz he can see mummy swimming underneath her and touching her toes :) On our next trip to Diba where we can snorkle we are definately going to bring her along  on our snorkling trip coz she can see fishies and corals when she is using this buoy!
I find it very clever indeed, and I fully recommended to parents wanting to invest on a toddler's buoy :)

And finally, it's time to go home, have her milk bottle and sleep....
Here is a picture of her ready to go back while having her Organic compote de pommes (stewed apple purée)

Until our next post au revoir! :)

À bientôt
