The King of fruit is here :))
Look at what we found while shopping at Carrefour a few days back:) The king of fruit itself the DURIAN!!
Unfortunately this durian has been done something to it coz i cant smell the smell of it so made me no mood to eat it.
They do look delicious dont they but the missing Durian smell just put me off even tasting it. They must have done something to it to stop it from smelling like durian so maybe its not so healthy after all.
Hubby was so tickled after finding out about the availability of durian fruit in carrefour that he just have to take a photo with it :) We Just cant believe our eyes really :))
And then he found these....The Rambutans :)
Since we both have colds we think its best to left it where we found it coz it might get out throats coughing like a horse on hot chillies i think hehehe
And our final discovery of the day is The Manggis fruit!
Was so happy to find all these fruits but dont dare to buy them just yet coz we both are having a bad cold and cough so best thing is to stay away from these fruits that might help get our coughing worse.
So you seem feels like home sweet home already :)

Nah, that is so nice Cilla, it does make one's homesick feeling a bit better when one can find something familiar in one's new environment kan .. here is the same, the durian also has no smell, i have tried once, a friend bought, sedap juga but still cannot beat the ones back home .. :)

ReplyDeleteJoan : My husband said that we should just buy one the next time ans see if he can stand it without the smell or how it taste like when there is no smell. So looks like we are buying one next time around :)
